 Good
and excellent wines are found in the historical
wine countries as in the new ones.
Peaceful, welcoming landscapes or dramatic, rough ones, as well as
venerable coltural heritages, enrich most continents.
Tasty, various, and healthy cuisines belong, instead, only to few
lucky countries.
But few, gifted places offer a balance of all of that at once, and of
that old fashined art of living.
When you land in those places, you feel somehow at home. In the best
possible world sometimes, like in certain valleys and towns of Italy,
for instance.
The nature all around, not too tidy perhaps, but present there as a
kind of civilized habitat, where fields and hills are like designed
and slowly shaped by generations of men.
The cities, the language, the people’s manners are impregnated by
their complex history and by familiarity with art and beauty, if you
can see it.
The local cuisines,
different from each other, in which Roman, medieval, Renaissance
recipes, ingredients from the “New World” and
spices from the East are layered and blended, are proudly celebrated
as an essential part of life.
In this wine country,
the wine, sacred in the Classic as in the Christian culture, is

easily bored by too much sniffing and gargling, aging and oaking and
elegant talking.
We drink at lunch a litlle, and at dinner mostly, the wine is an
everyday presence, like bread pasta or olive oil.
You learn to drink at home, you know the wine by sampling and experiencing.
Each region offers five, ten or fifty different wines.
Elegant medium bodied reds, fruity young ones, austere riservas and

The fans of the true Mediterranean cuisine, well, should rather turn
your eyes to the old, Greek and Arab southern Italy.
There is where it comes from, and there we propose amazing tours in
Apulia or in Sicily.
Two regions which produce most of the Italian wine, rich of ancient
history and homes of intense, warm wines.
Besides this, we have still more trips in less known regions, and
special trips, linked to cultural or culinary events, and we can
include cooking happenings in many programs.

There are three steps: you choose an area and explain us how you like
to travel, and what you wish to do, besides tasting wine.
We propose or design an itinerary, and later finalize it with you.
Then, basically, we are ready to go for the tour.
Our guiding fees vary according to the group size, and to the season,
and to the complexity of the itinerary.

choice, you will pick charming hotel, or relais style, farmhouse resorts, or villas as you like.
