Always a tailor-made experience
With Italian Wine Tours you buy from local craftsmen. It’s like going to the tailor, or getting shoes made to measure. Even our more classic tours are always tailor-made experiences. For your experience in Tuscany, Sicily or another region that you select, you can choose among five travel modes.
Contact me, I will organize your tour based on your preferences, and wishes. We shall figure out together which region, how long a tour, which travel style match your expectations at the best.
Italianwinetours is the first dedicated wine tours company in Italy, registered in 2001. I first worked as a geologist all around Italy, I led small group tours for première walking, wine and food tours operators. After endless beautiful trails, from The Etna to the Chianti and the Dolomites, after hundreds or tastings, and of great, slow-food meals, I resolved to squeeze and share all my experiences in these tours.
We do not work with big numbers, we are a “boutique” operation, with few expert guides. All our tours are tailor made: itinerary, hotels, and price. If you have a deep feel for nature, in addition, discovering a wine region with a geologist is like seeing the Uffizi museum with an art expert, or Pompeii with an archeologist, so to speak. And drinking, and eating with a passionnate wine and food lover is - we hope - a pleasure and a plus that you will share.
Best Value rates
You can get the best rates, simply by dealing with the guide and the travel agent who create your holiday. Compare our rates with medium-high end tours, and easily find out that 1) you save 20 to 30% on comparable tour packages. 2) Youl get a customized private tour with wine included, at the cost of a common group tour. And, last but not least, you travel with enthusiastic gourmet guides, working as hosts in their country, who wish that their guest enjoys the wine, the food, and the places, as much as they do themselves.
